■ Northern Lights Gospel
Quartet to perform

The Malmo Free Church will present The Northern Lights Gospel Quartet in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The Northern Lights Gospel Quartet enjoys sharing both southern Gospel and a cappella style music and was organized primarily to sing at churches and community events in the northern Minnesota region. All four men are from Otter Tail County. Although their repertoire is oriented toward Southern gospel, you could also hear them sing an occasional 50s, doo-wop or barbershop arrangement since they are also members of the Barbershop Harmony Society, where they serve as the four section leaders of their chorus. Come as you are and bring a lawn chair. In case of rain or excessive heat the concert will be inside the air-conditioned church. Malmo Church is located near the junction of highways 47 and 18 on Highway 18 near the northeast corner of Lake Mille Lacs.

for Wednesday

Gospel Night will feature the Vagle Brothers at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Assembly of God Church, 13242 Berrywood Drive, Baxter. Also performing will be Tim and Cindy Roggenkamp. The event is sponsored by River of Life Productions.
