This week at Trinity

On Sunday, May 31, Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, will have a drive-up worship service at 9 a.m. in the church parking lot.

Also, the service will be broadcast live on KVBR 1340. Holy Communion will be available to members and guests as they worship in their cars so as to practice safe social distancing. Pastor Paul Erdal will be speaking on “Pentecost” and Pastor Hans Anderson will be assisting. Noisy Can Offering will be taken to help the CLC Food Pantry and other area food needs. Attendees are encouraged to wear red to honor Pentecost Sunday.

Trinity’s Daily Devotional Time and Wednesday Evening Service can be viewed at any time on Facebook at trinitybrainerd. The weekly Worship Service is available at www.trinitybrainerd.org.

Outdoor gospel concert canceled

The June 6 outdoor gospel concert at Malmo Free Church has been canceled.

The status of the concerts for the rest of the summer is yet to be determined.

Bethel Lutheran Church services

Bethel Lutheran will continue to worship by virtual Sundays at 9 a.m. with Pastor Beth Pottratz and Pastor Jeff Macejkovic leading the worship services.

First Lutheran Church services

At this time, First Lutheran Church in Brainerd will not be resuming in-church worship services. On June 14, however, plans are in the works for a parking lot worship service at 9 a.m.

As the date approaches, more information will be available.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church services

This Sunday, May 31, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave., Brainerd, will celebrate the Day of Pentecost with a parking lot service at 8:20 a.m. Arrive early, stay in your vehicle and park in the east (lower) lot.

There will also be a parking lot service at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The church will continue to livestream the 10:30 a.m. service on Sundays at www.facebook.com/bethlehem.brainerd. The building will be closed for this service.
