First Lutheran Church events

First Lutheran Church, 424 S. Eighth St., Brainerd, will celebrate the 24th Sunday after Pentecost and All Saints Day with a 9 a.m. worship Sunday, Nov. 7, in the sanctuary and online. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Pastor Patty Bjorklund will preside. Pastor Jordan Gades will preach. Masks are required.

A special welcoming coffee fellowship will be 10-11 a.m. in Koinonia Hall for Pastor Jordan Gades. Cake and beverages will be served.

Artisan Fair planned for Nov. 6

All Saints Catholic Church 16898 Carlson Lake Road, Brainerd, is having its first artisan fair 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, featuring a large variety of locally created home décor, jewelry, gift ideas, baked goods and pantry.

Signs will be posted.

This week at Trinity

Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, has scheduled three worship services for this week.

On Wednesday, Nov. 3, there will be an evening worship service at 6 p.m. with Holy Communion served.

The Wednesday evening meal will be served at 5 p.m. in the Gathering Area with pizza being served. The veterans dinner will be served in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The First Communion class will not meet but the sixth- through eighth-grade Confirmation classes will participate in a Servant project at 4 p.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 7, All Saints Sunday, there will be two worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Bishop Amy Odgren will be preaching at both services with Holy Communion. The Sunday service will be broadcast at 9 a.m. on KVBR 1340 Radio and the 8:15 a.m. service is livestreamed. Sermons are posted on Facebook.

There will be a congregational listening time at 9:20 a.m. Education hour will begin at 9:30 a.m. Coffee hour will be in the Gathering Area following the first service.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church services

On Sunday, Bethlehem Lutheran Church,418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, will celebrate All Saints Sunday with in-person services with communion at 8:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Pastor Sarah Marshall will be preaching. The church will continue to livestream the 10:30 a.m. services on Sundays at www.facebook.com/bethlehem.brainerd. The service will be put on www.belcnet.net after its completion for later viewing. Sunday school will begin at 9:25 a.m. on Sunday.

Men’s bible study takes place at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

This week at South Long Lake Church

South Long Lake Church, 13152 Smart Road, Brainerd, will have worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, with Peggy Holtz speaking. The church will be celebrating Communion with fellowship time to follow. Services can be viewed on Facebook.

Lutheran Church of the Cross of Nisswa activities

NISSWA — Lutheran Church of the Cross will have one worship service at 9 a.m. beginning Sunday, Nov. 7, All Saints Sunday.

The Sunday service is available via streaming video at lccnisswa.org (live and archived) and on Facebook Live at Lutheran Church of the Cross-Nisswa. Bulletins for Sunday service may be downloaded from the website.

Spirit of Christmas Bazaar planned

CROSBY — The scents of fresh baked rolls, coffee and apple cider will welcome you to the annual Spirit of Christmas Bazaar 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 Fourth St. SW, Crosby.

There will be crafts ranging from furniture to photography, wearables and jewelry, fresh wreaths to handmade cards and paintings. Lefse will also be available. The Little Elves Gift shop will welcome little ones up to age 12 to shop for their parents and other loved ones.

Genealogy research library now open

The genealogy research library at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 101 Buffalo Hills Lane, Brainerd is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays.
