Captain Robert Orr Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution to meet

The Captain Robert Orr Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 10, at the Gull Lake Recreation Shelter on the top of the hill, 10867 East Gull Lake Road, Brainerd.


State Regent Kathleen Huston will present a program on her Revolutionary War Patriot. Faye Leach will be the hostess. The upcoming genealogy workshop at the Brainerd Public Library on Sept. 17 will also be discussed.

Senior dance planned

A senior dance will be 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Eagles Club in Brainerd with music by Two For The Road.

Washington High School class of 1952 to celebrate 70th class reunion

The Washington High School class of 1952 will have its 70th class reunion at 11 a.m. Sept. 21, at Dunmire’s on the Lake, formerly Ivan’s on the Bay.

Order lunch off the menu. Park in the lower lot and enter in the lower level.
