An Elk River man was injured in a crash on Highway 169 Tuesday evening after his truck went off the road and struck a tree.

Paul F. Craven, 60, Elk River, was driving a Ford F-150 southbound on Highway 169 just south of Tamarac Road when his truck went off the road into the right ditch and struck a tree, the Minnesota State Patrol reported. The crash occurred at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday.

Craven was transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and his vehicle was totaled in the crash.
