11-year-old girl injured in rollover

PIERZ--An 11-year-old girl was injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in left the roadway and rolled at 9 p.m. Monday on Minnesota Highway 27, east of Centennial Drive near PIerz in Morrison County.

PIERZ-An 11-year-old girl was injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in left the roadway and rolled at 9 p.m. Monday on Minnesota Highway 27, east of Centennial Drive near PIerz in Morrison County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported John W. McPherson, 52, St. Cloud, was driving a Saturn Vue east on Highway 27. When he approached Centennial Drive, the Saturn left the roadway to the south and rolled. McPherson and two other passengers-Allison C. Beattie, 43, Onamia, and McPherson's son Nicholas McPherson, 15, St. Cloud, had no apparent injuries.

McPherson's daughter, Abigail McPherson, 11, St. Cloud, was transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls for non-life threatening injuries.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
