A 16-year-old boy was injured Saturday, Jan. 25, when the snowmobile he was operating crashed on Crow Wing Lake, just south of Brainerd.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported Dawson R. Sypnieski of Brainerd rode the snowmobile off a 3-foot snowbank and crashed onto the ice. The boy suffered injuries to his back and arm and was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
The crash was reported at 4:30 p.m.
