A 19-year-old woman was injured in a rear-end crash at 5:26 p.m. Monday on Highway 18, east of Brainerd, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
A Dodge Caravan, driven by Lana M. Yaunick, 54, Brainerd, was traveling west on Highway 18 and was making a left turn onto Crow Wing County Road 23, when it was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Lumina, the state patrol said.
Yaunick had no apparent injuries. The driver of the Chevy, Drake A. Zak, 19, Brainerd, also had no apparent injuries, but his passenger, Bailey J. Freeman, was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
