ROYALTON -- A Princeton man was injured when two all-terrain vehicles crashed at 4:21 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, near the intersection of 170th Avenue and the Soo Line Trail, 3 miles north of Royalton in Bellevue Township.
The Morrison County Sheriff‘s Office reported 50-year-old Kevin Kleingartner of Princeton and 49-year-old Shanon Kleingartner of Princeton were traveling side by side on separate ATVs along the Soo Line Trail when the two ATVs collided. Kevin Kleingartner, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his ATV. He was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls with unknown injuries. Shanon Kleingartner was not injured.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol and Royalton First Response Team.
