Two people arrested as a result of a search warrant in northeast Brainerd were charged Friday in Crow Wing County District Court.

Charged were Jason Howard Mattsen, 38, and Andrea Dawn Justin, 46. Each face one charge of gross misdemeanor fifth-degree possession of narcotics.

The Lakes Area Drug Investigation Division executed a search warrant Thursday morning at a residence on the 1000 block of 13th Avenue Northeast. The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported the division, with assistance from the sheriff's office tactical team and the Brainerd Police Department, searched the home about 8:10 a.m. Thursday.

Law enforcement located drug paraphernalia and residue that tested positive for methamphetamine on several items in a room shared by Mattsen and Justin, according to a criminal complaint.
