ONAMIA-Two men are in custody following a drug bust Wednesday after agents from the Great Nations Gang and Drug Task Force, East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force and officers from the Mille Lacs Tribal Police Department executed a search warrant on Weywenabe Drive in Onamia.

Von Shane Aune, 53, was booked into Mille Lacs County Jail for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance; and Blake Lee Stevens, 30, was arrested inside of the residence for an outstanding warrant.

"The Mille Lacs Tribal Police would like to thank the Mille Lacs Band Community for their continued support in combating drugs and violent crime on the Reservation," Mille Lacs

Band Tribal Police Chief Jared Rosati stated in a release. "We encourage the community to report any suspicious activity to the Mille Lacs Tribal Police Department."
