Numerous vehicles on See Gull Road, just north of Brainerd, were broken into Sunday morning and items, such as cellphones, checkbooks and credit cards were taken, reported Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl.

Deputies received information of stolen credit cards being used in Crow Wing County. Video surveillance was quickly obtained of the suspects using the stolen credit cards in Brainerd and Baxter stores. Deputies were notified one of the stolen credit cards was recently used at Wal-Mart in Baxter. Baxter officers were able to locate a female coming out of the store who had used the stolen credit cards. As a result, a 38-year-old woman and a juvenile male were arrested. Another juvenile male also is being charged.

Dahl reminds residents to secure their vehicles while parked in their driveway.

"We would like to think that our vehicles are safe while parked on our own property, but unfortunately there are individuals that take advantage of situations for their own selfish reasons. This investigation came together with good police work by all officers and deputies involved. I am very proud of the professional relationship we have with other law enforcement agencies."

Anyone with information regarding these thefts or other thefts in the area are asked to contact the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office at 218-829-4749.
