2 injured in 3-vehicle crash in Crosslake

CROSSLAKE - Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle crash reported at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday at the junction of Crow Wing County Roads 3 and 66 in Crosslake, reported the Crosslake Police Department.

CROSSLAKE - Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle crash reported at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday at the junction of Crow Wing County Roads 3 and 66 in Crosslake, reported the Crosslake Police Department.

It was reported Ardis Luconic, 83, was driving northbound on County Road 3, when she went up over the curb on the right hand side of the roadway about 100 feet from the intersection of County Roads 3 and 66. Luconic's vehicle proceeded north through the grass and struck a Minnesota Department of Natural Resource's pickup driven by Jacob Johnson, 21, as he was turning east on County Road 3. The DNR truck then struck another vehicle that was at the stop sign facing west on County Road 3, driven by Jamie Stoltenberg, 33.

Luconic and Stoltenberg were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd with unknown injuries.

The Crosslake Fire Department assisted at the scene.
