BAXTER - A driver, who got distracted with a passenger Friday, drove through a red light and crashed into another vehicle on Highway 210 and Golf Course Drive in Baxter, the Baxter Police Department reported.
Police responded to the two-vehicle T-bone crash at 11:38 a.m.
It was reported Patrick C. Silliman, 22, Cloquet, was traveling west on Highway 210 when he drove through the red light at the signal intersection and struck a vehicle driven by Melvin A. Boser, 69, Brainerd. Boser and his passenger, Dorine C. Boser, 71, Brainerd, were transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd where they were treated and then released.
Silliman was not injured.
