WOLFORD TOWNSHIP — Two people were injured in a crash Wednesday, Dec. 29, just north of Crosby.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported 55-year-old Heidi Lynn Lundgren of Crosby was northbound on Highway 6 in her 2004 Honda Accord just before 3 p.m. Dec. 29. A westbound Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 17-year-old male, who the state patrol did not name, was westbound on County Highway 30 in a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, when the Jeep slid through the stop sign and was struck by the Honda.
Both drivers were transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. Lundgren suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the state patrol did not specify the nature of the teenager’s injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Roads were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.
