2 Polar Plunge events Friday, Saturday in Breezy Point

Teams from Brainerd, Pillager, Crosby-Ironton and Staples-Motley schools will participate in the Cool School Polar Plunge Friday, March 6, at Breezy Point Resort.

The Cool School plunge is designed to raise money specifically for schools. As students and teams raise money, 50% of the proceeds will go toward Special Olympics, while the other half will come directly back to school clubs and programs.

Registration starts at 10 a.m. Friday, with a DJ, games and pasta bar at 11 a.m. and the plunge at noon.
