2 suffer injuries in rollover

The Minnesota State Patrol was called at 3:25 a.m. to a crash on Highway 6 and Cass County Road 58 near Outing.

OUTING — A Brainerd man and his passenger were injured Thursday, Sept. 16, when the SUV they were in rolled multiple times before coming to a rest on its roof in Cass County.

The Minnesota State Patrol was called at 3:25 a.m. to a crash on Highway 6 and Cass County Road 58 near Outing. A Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling north on Highway 6, when the vehicle drifted to the right and off the roadway. The vehicle rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its roof, the crash report stated.

The driver, Aaron R. Baumgartner, 37, Brainerd, and his 22-year-old passenger, Ariana J. Johnson of Longville, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken by ambulance to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Crosby Ambulance, Remer Ambulance and Crooked Lake Fire Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
