ONAMIA-Both drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash at 11:26 a.m. Sunday at highways 27 and 169 in Onamia were injured.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Saturn passenger car was westbound on Highway 27, waiting to make a left turn to go south on Highway 169; while a Honda Odyssey was traveling north on Highway 169. The passenger car did not clear the intersection in time, the state patrol reported.

The road conditions were wet.

Seth D. Naslund, 29, Onamia, the driver of the Saturn, and Larry G. Gotvald, 68, St. Cloud, the driver of the Honda, both had non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by Mille Lacs Ambulance to the Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office and Onamia Fire Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
