A 20-year-old woman was killed Friday when the Toyota Corolla she was in collided with a semitractor-trailer on Highway 23 in the Foreston area in Mille Lacs County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Shanna M. Dahlen, 20, Milaca, was driving a passenger car eastbound on Highway 23, when it collided head on with a westbound semitractor-trailer driven by William R. Jones, 61, Ogilvie. Dahlen was killed and Jones had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an unknown hospital.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office assisted with the crash reported at 3:34 a.m.
