What do you want to accomplish if elected? My core value is supporting families, defending life, and championing opportunities for our children. Much of my time has been spent working with bi-partisan coalitions promoting business and agriculture so that future generations continue to move back to our communities and grow our families and communities.
Specifically, how would you accomplish your goals? As the vice-chair of the education finance committee, assistant majority leader, and chair of Child Protection Task Force, I have taken leadership in key areas important to our area.
What abilities or qualifications separate you from your competition? Why are you the best candidate for the job? For the last 20 years, I have taught, coached, hired, or hunted and fished with many people from this area. I know the importance quality education and strengthening our families. When I talk to people at the kitchen tables, I hear the strong desire of people to take care of their family and be part of a robust community. My life experiences, love of my family, and faith in God, remind me that I am here to serve and I believe my experience is a good fit to continue to be the Representative for House District 9B. I would be honored to have your support.

Public Office Experience: Co-founder, secretary and second vice chairman of the College Democrats of Minnesota, Young Democrats of America Rural Caucus treasurer, chairman of Little Falls Youth Task Force.

What do you want to accomplish if elected? Respect the will of the voters and restore a responsible state. Passing a bonding and tax bill plus a long term transportation bill is first on the list. My priority to advance our community is economic development; lifting people out of poverty with jobs to be proud of.
Specifically, how will you accomplish your goals? By remaining loyal to the voters of our community. Passing a job training program to help people in our rural communities find work in high skilled positions locally. Relieving stress on our businesses by lowering taxes and eliminating unnecessary or outdated regulations. Working inside our communities and with state agencies to promote our natural resources and beautiful countryside on projects such as trails and tourism. Additionally, Minnesotans are faced with costly child care, transportation, health care, and taxes. I will work with both parties to ensure Minnesota gets the work done.
What abilities or qualifications separate you from your competition? Why are you the best candidate for the job? I want to bring something new to politics. From a young age I wanted to make a difference for my community. In high school I became chairman of the Youth Task Force in Little Falls. At the University of Minnesota I became 2nd Vice Chairman of the College Democrats of Minnesota and Treasurer of the Young Democrats of America's Rural Caucus allowing me to study and work on rural issues across the state and nation. I studied city planning, political science, and economics to best prepare myself for the honor of being your next State Representative.
