SWATARA-A 23-year-old Swatara man died Thursday morning at a home in Swatara after being thrown from the 2007 Ski-Doo 600 Renegade he was operating.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office received a report at 6:05 a.m. of a medical emergency from a snowmobile crash. Sheriff's office personnel arrived at the residence and learned Jeremy J. Gindele was transported to a home after a snowmobile crash. He was pronounced dead at the home. Gindele was operating the snowmobile in a field on private property when he lost control of the machine, throwing him off, the sheriff's office reported.
An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office and the crash remains under investigation.
