Crow Wing County TRIAD is wrapping up 2015 with three upcoming events.

On Monday, TRIAD will participate in the Pizza Ranch Community Impact Night. From 5-8 p.m.,TRIAD members will be serving and talking to the public while they eat their meal at the Pizza Ranch. TRIAD will earn a percentage of the proceeds and tips. For those planning an evening out who would like to learn more about TRIAD, join the organization at Pizza Ranch.

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 10-11:30 a.m.,TRIAD will present "Winter Driving Safety Tips for Seniors" in the Crow Wing County Land Services meeting rooms. Sgt. Neil Dickenson will be the presenter and after the presentation, all participants will put together a winter car safety kit to take home at no charge. Cookies and coffee will be free as well.

Also during the first or second week in November, TRIAD will launch the "Stay Safe - Don't Slip" program. The group tried a pilot program last year, and it was very well received, a news release states. The group will be distributing buckets of sand to seniors in the community. The bucket of sand is delivered to homes, along with a scoop to sprinkle on sidewalks and driveways to prevent slipping. Call the sheriff's office, give your name and address and TRIAD will do the rest.
