PINE CENTER-A call of a possible suicidal male led Crow Wing County deputies to a residence where they found a fish house engulfed in flames and, later, a deceased victim inside.
At 12:25 a.m. Monday, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office received a call of a possible suicidal male at a residence on the 3400 block of County Road 113, near Pine Center. The Pierz Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
Upon examining the burned remains of the fish house, deputies located a body inside. It is believed that the remains are that of the suicidal male, the sheriff's office reported.
The remains were transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner. The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office is awaiting positive identification on the victim.
