Level 3 predatory offender Joel Evan Greenough was released Aug. 23 from prison and moved to the 22000 block of Mollie Lake Road in rural Nisswa.
In a news release, Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl said Greenough, 24, was previously registered in the city of Brainerd and there will not be a community notification meeting scheduled in regard to his move to rural Nisswa. Greenough is not wanted by the police as he served the sentenced imposed on him by the court.
Greenough has a history of sexual contact with 14-year-old and 10-year-old female victims. He was known to the victims and sexual contact included penetration. Greenough was convicted in Crow Wing County District Court with criminal sexual conduct. According to the probable cause court document, Greenough, who was 17 at the time, engaged in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl in 2011.
A Level 3 predatory offender is considered by the Minnesota Department of Corrections as someone who is most likely to reoffend.
