Crosby youth center announces new coordinator
CROSBY—Stephanie Anderson is the new program and volunteer coordinator at the Cuyuna Range Youth Center in Crosby.
Anderson is from the Bay Area in California, where she has a background in working with youth, doing street outreach and youth advocacy in Minnesota and California since 2002. She also has worked in grassroots community led social services for 10-plus years. She recently moved back to Crosby, where she also has family.
"I am excited to join the staff at CRYC and continue a legacy of good works with the amazing youth of this community," Anderson stated in a news release. "I am grateful to the outgoing coordinator, Megan Cummings, in making this transition simple and hopefully seamless. I share the same core values of respect, honesty and communication to be important in success. We are here to provide support and guidance, to provide a safe space for teens to be with their friends, engaging in activities and having access to resources and opportunities."
In other youth center news, volunteers are needed to make sure the center run smoothly. To volunteer, email Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 218-545-6575 or visit the website at
