HACKENSACK-The Family Safety Network of Cass County announced its second annual Parade of Trees event set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Hackensack.
The event will feature a silent auction of donated decorated trees, wreaths and holiday centerpieces; music; arts and craft vendors; and a light lunch. The Parade of Trees is part of a year of activities recognizing 25 years of services provided by FSN.
Individual, group and organization participants are needed to design and create small Christmas trees, wreaths or centerpieces to donate for silent auction. Businesses are also invited to decorate a tree at their workplaces. Participants can be as creative as they want, from creating a traditional holiday piece to one that may be more modern.
Gift basket donations are also needed for the silent auction and can include food, services, gift certificates, etc.
Registration forms for arts and craft vendors are available by calling Barb Mann at 218-838-6058.
