SPICER - A 5-year-old boy involved in an all-terrain vehicle crash Saturday night in Spicer has died.
The Hennepin County Medical Center said Wesley Needham died Monday.
Needham had previously been listed in critical condition by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, who responded to the crash about 5 p.m. Saturday.
It appears Needham was driving a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500cc four-wheeler on the southwest side of George Lake in Spicer, according to a media release. The ATV went off the road and overturned.
He was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital on Saturday night. Needham was later transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The boy’s organs were to be donated, the hospital said.
A Go Fund Me website titled, “Celebrate Wesley’s Life” had raised more than $3,000 as of Monday afternoon.
“Wesley is a 5-year-old outgoing boy who always had a smile on,” said a description on the website. “Anyone who knew him, knew he was on the go.”
