A burning home brought firefighters from six lakes area departments to fight the blaze Wednesday, Jan. 23.
The fire was reported about 1:50 p.m. at a residence on the 17000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 11 north of Crosby.
According to reports from the police scanner, calls for mutual aid to the home started quickly after a passerby spotted smoke. Additional scanner reports stated fire was then also visible from the home. More details will be posted later at www.brainerddispatch.com .
