“Dahlias” will be presented by Master Gardener Jackie Burkey noon Oct. 13 via Zoom.
Dahlias can add a lot of color and texture to the Minnesota garden, a news release stated. In this class, Burkey will talk about how to successfully grow gorgeous dahlias and how to store the tubers in the winter, including a new method used by some growers. People also will be able to see examples of the many different classes of dahlias, from small, bushy varieties to magnificent dinner plate cultivars.
