Cuyuna Area Connections will present a virtual learning opportunity titled Emotional Well-Being, streamed noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 5.
The event is geared for the older adult community and their family members who have experienced added stress or anxiety as they have aged, as well as anyone interested in learning about community resources that can help increase resilience-building skills and open lines of communication about mental health, a news release stated.
Rick Jackson and Kim Schaefbauer of Northern Pines Mental Health will present information on local crisis services, ideas to help friends and family who may be in a mental health crisis and how to recognize mental health symptoms in people age 50 and older.
