8-year-old drives ATV into farm equipment, injuring self and 4-year-old passenger

Two youths were injured when the all-terrain vehicle they were on crashed into farm equipment Saturday on the 16000 block of County Highway 2 in Brainerd.

Two youths were injured when the all-terrain vehicle they were on crashed into farm equipment Saturday on the 16000 block of County Highway 2 in Brainerd.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported the ATV was traveling in a yard when it struck some farm equipment that was in some tall weeds.

Novah M. Sellman, 8, Brainerd, was driving the ATV with 4-year-old passenger, Conner S. Redebaugh of Pequot Lakes. Both minors were transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd with non-life threatening injuries.
