PINE CENTER -- A teenage girl and her passenger were injured when the all-terrain vehicle she was operating crashed Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the parking lot at JR’s Junction, 22974 Crow Wing County Highway 2, in Pine Center.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported 14-year-old Lynnea J. Smith of Anoka was operating an ATV at JR’s when she lost control and rolled the ATV. Lynnea and her passenger, Coraline J. Strobl, unknown age, of Ramsey, were transported by ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life threatening injuries. It was reported they both were wearing helmets.

The crash was reported at 4:14 p.m.
