Drivers sent to hospital following crash

DEERWOOD—Both drivers in a two-vehicle crash were transported Thursday, Sept. 6, to the Crosby hospital when their vehicles collided on Highway 210 in Rabbit Lake Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Shawna E. Hill, 44, Breezy Point, was driving a Toyota Sienna when she pulled out from Crow Wing County Highway 32 to travel east onto Highway 210.

Hill was turning when a Ford Freestyle, driven by Lindsey A. Bennett, 31, Aitkin, was traveling west on Highway 210 and it collided with the side of the Toyota.

Both drivers were transported to the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for non-life-threatening injuries. The Deerwood Fire Department assisted at the scene. The crash was reported at 7:24 a.m.
