Crash at Brainerd stoplight injures 3
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:27 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the intersection of Industrial Park Road and South Sixth Street in Brainerd.
The Brainerd Police Department reported a vehicle driven by Wendy Debusk, 65, Brainerd, was traveling south on South Sixth Street and a vehicle driven by Catherine Klocke, 38, Brainerd, was traveling west on Industrial Park Road. Both were approaching the intersection of South Sixth Street and Industrial Park Road, which is regulated by a four-way stop light.
Klocke had the green light and proceeded through the intersection, while Debusk failed to stop for a red light and continued south on South Sixth Street, striking Klocke's vehicle, police reported.
Klocke was not injured, but her two passengers—Lorraine Windorski, 54, Deerwood, and Ashley Lovamo, 30, Brainerd—and Debusk were all transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries.
