LITTLE FALLS — A 45-year-old man was injured Friday, Nov. 8, after his vehicle rear-ended a fuel tanker semitractor-trailer on Highway 10, south of Little Falls in Morrison County.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 9:44 a.m. The fuel tanker semitrailer was traveling north on Highway 10 from 113th Street in Little Falls Township with its hazard lights on. A Chevrolet Impala was also traveling north on Highway 10 and struck the rear of the semitrailer.
The driver of the Impala, Michael K. Porter of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls. It was unknown if Porter was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the fuel tanker, Nicholas R. Peterson, 29, Baxter, was not injured.
