IRONDALE — A 78-year-old Crosby woman was injured at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 210 and Crow Wing County Highway 12, also known as the Deerwood Shortcut.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Ford Special four-door wagon driven by David J. Kobs, 42, of Brainerd, was traveling west on Highway 210. Kobs was taking a left onto County Highway 12 and said he did not see a Buick Regal traveling east on Highway 210. He continued to make the turn, causing the crash.
The driver of the Buick — Rose M. Seely, 78, Crosby — was transported to a hospital in Crow Wing County for non-life-threatening injuries. Kobs was not injured.
Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office and Deerwood Police Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
