A 45-year-old Brainerd man was injured after losing control of the motorcycle he was driving Sunday, Aug. 9, east of Brainerd.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 6:58 p.m. on Woodrow and Nokay Lake roads in Brainerd. Darryl D. Thompson lost control while preparing to stop at a stop sign, officials reported. Thompson was transported by Crosby ambulance to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby with a possible broken collarbone.
The Brainerd Fire Department was paged but was canceled en route.
