LONGVILLE — A 41-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday, Sept. 13, on Highway 84 in Longville.

The Minnesota State Patrol was called at 6:49 a.m. to a crash where a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling north on Highway 84 when it struck a Chevrolet Silverado. The crash caused the Malibu to go off the roadway, into the west ditch and strike a tree.

The driver of the Malibu, Phillip E. Delapaz of Laporte, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale. Delapaz was not wearing a seat belt, the crash report stated. A passenger in the Malibu, Leda M. Gurnsey, 26, Cass Lake, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but was not transported to a hospital.

The driver of the Silverado, Robert W. Williams, 65, Remer, was not injured.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
