BAXTER — A 59-year-old Baxter woman was injured Monday, Sept. 13, after being struck by a SUV at the intersection of Cypress Drive and Highway 210 in Baxter.

The Baxter Police Department was called at 1:09 p.m. to the crash where a Nissan Murano driven by Sandra K. Gay, 72, Pillager, was stopped at the red light, waiting to turn right. Witnesses told police they observed a pedestrian, later identified as Diana J. Endras, who pushed the walk button and began to walk into the intersection against the pedestrian light, when she was struck by the SUV. Endras was transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance with minor injuries.
