Alcohol believed to be factor in ATV crash

A 47-year-old Randall man was injured Sunday when he lost control of the all-terrain vehicle he was driving and it rolled on top of him.

RANDALL-A 47-year-old Randall man was injured Sunday when he lost control of the all-terrain vehicle he was driving and it rolled on top of him.

The Morrison County Sheriff 's Office responded to the ATV crash at 12:40 a.m. with injuries on Lake Camille Drive, four miles north of Randall in Cushing Township. Damon Salyard of Randall was driving an ATV in the ditch off of Lake Camille Drive, when he lost control of the ATV and it rolled on top of him.

Salyard was airlifted by Life Link III out of Brainerd to St Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor, the sheriff's office reported, but the incident is still under investigation.

The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Randall Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance.
