NELSON - One of the drivers in a two-vehicle crash near Nelson in central Minnesota, has died.
The St. Cloud Hospital confirmed the death of Amber Lynn Martinson, 28, of Alexandria, Monday.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 73, north of Nelson.
Deputies determined a 2004 Chevrolet Venture van driven by Deborah Ann Kempkes, 49, of Underwood was traveling east on Douglas County Road 73 and failed to stop at the stop sign.
The van collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Martinson, who was traveling north on County Road 9.

Both vehicles entered the ditch on the northeast side of the intersection and Kempkes' vehicle overturned.
Martinson was flown to the St. Cloud Hospital where she later died.
Kempkes taken to the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria and was treated and released.
