An Andover woman was transported to the hospital after the vehicle she was driving collided with another near the Brainerd Lakes Welcome Center on Highway 371.
According to Minnesota State Patrol, Pamela J. Stenson-Breyen, 69, Andover, was entering the southbound lane of the highway from the welcome center shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sunday when the vehicle crashed with a Chrysler Aspen. The driver of the Chrysler was Robert R. Alm of Minnetonka. His condition after the crash was not documented.
Stenson-Breyen received non life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and Stenson-Breyen's airbag deployed. The vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Crow Wing County sheriff's office assisted at the scene.
