Staples police: ARRESTS - A 19-year-old man was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Friday following a report to assist the Morrison County Sheriff's Office with a road rage type incident involving a weapon. The 19-year-old driver was later arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and being under 21 and drinking and driving and transported to the Todd County Detention Center.

Staples police

ARRESTS - A 19-year-old man was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Friday following a report to assist the Morrison County Sheriff's Office with a road rage type incident involving a weapon. The vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway 10, between Motley and Staples. A traffic stop on the vehicle was initiated by the Motley Police Department on 10th Street Northeast and Highway 10, with Staples police assisting. Three subjects were removed from the vehicle, detained and transported to the Staples Police Department for further investigation. The 19-year-old driver was later arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and being under 21 and drinking and driving and transported to the Todd County Detention Center.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Sunday for domestic assault by strangulation, fifth-degree assault, fifth-degree domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a report of a domestic on the 300 block of Third Street Southeast.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Sunday on a probation violation following a report of a domestic dispute on the 400 block of Seventh Street Northeast.

UNWANTED - A report at 6:18 a.m. Sunday of an unwanted person on the 200 block of Fourth Street Northeast. Officers arrived and the subject had left prior to their arrival.

A report at 12:35 p.m. Saturday of an unwanted subject at a residence on Sixth Street Northeast. The complainant told police his roommate had used methamphetamines and was told to leave early that morning. The complainant stated the subject was going to be evicted due to the drug use. The subject was not present when police arrived.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 9:06 p.m. Saturday of a suspicious person at Burger King, 201 Second Ave. NE. Police made contact with subject who was intoxicated in the bathroom. Subject was given a ride home from the Todd County Sheriff's office.

A report at 1:51 p.m. Friday of a suspicious letter received by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, 209 Fourth St. NE.

A report Feb. 16 of a suspicious vehicle at Unity Bank, 602 Fourth St. NE. Complainant said someone appeared to be sleeping while sitting in the driver's seat with the vehicle running. Officers made contact and driver said he works the night shift and was waiting for the bank to open.

DISPUTE - A report Feb. 19 of a dispute over the phone between a girlfriend and boyfriend on the 1400 block of Third Street Northeast. Female was advised to obtain an order for protection.

INTOXICATED - A report at 11:03 p.m. Feb. 18 of a subject holding an open beer bottle and appeared to be intoxicated walking on the 900 block of Sixth Street Northeast. Subject was advised for public drinking.

DISTURBANCE - A report Feb. 17 of people arguing in an apartment on the 1400 block of Third Street Northeast. Subjects were located and officers learned the argument had ended.

ASSAULT - A 24-year-old man was cited for assault Feb. 16 on the 200 block of Sixth Street Northeast.

Brainerd police

DISTURBANCE - A report at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday of people fighting on the 300 block of James Street. Officers made contact and subjects were having a verbal argument.

A report at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal disturbance on the 1200 block of Southeast 13th Street. From the hallway, officers overheard loud shouting from a female inside an apartment. Officers determined it was a verbal altercation. Male was given a ride to the Westgate Mall.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday of two males taking large batteries from behind Batteries Plus, 923 Washington St.

A report at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday of an unknown vehicle parked in the alley on the 700 block of North Eighth Street. Officer was unable to locate.

CIVIL - A report Tuesday that complainant's ex-fiance is refusing to return the engagement ring.

ARREST - A 36-year-old was arrested at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday for felony domestic assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety following a report of a physical domestic on the 300 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

THEFT - A report Tuesday of a theft on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast. Citations were issued for shoplifting.

A report Tuesday of complainant losing her wallet on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast. It was later returned but $100 in cash was missing.

Baxter police

K9 - Assisted Brainerd police at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday in locating a suspect from a domestic call. K9 tracked and pushed suspect to a perimeter squad.

Crow Wing sheriff

ARRESTS - A 22-year-old man was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Tuesday for disorderly conduct following a report of a disturbance on the 24000 block of Crow Wing County Road 111.

THEFT - A report Tuesday of a theft of money from an elderly couple on the 115000 block of Damsgaard Road, Deerwood.

A report Tuesday of a theft through wire transfer in rural Brainerd.

ASSAULT - A report at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday of an assault on the 300 block of Laurel Street.

Little Falls police

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:08 p.m. Monday of suspicious activity in which the complainant allegedly claimed someone may be trying to get into her residence on the 300 block of 11th Street. Officers arrived on scene but failed to observe anyone in the area. The complainant heard someone walking near the front of the residence, but she hadn't seen anyone nearby. She claimed to be concerned about a male subject she knows who had been told to stay away. Officers agreed to provide additional patrol in the area for the remainder of the night.

A report at 10:06 p.m. of suspicious activity on the 300 block of Sixth Street Southeast.

ARRESTS - A 20-year-old was arrested at 5:49 p.m. Monday following a report of an out-of-control subject in the emergency room at St. Gabriel's Hospital, 815 Second St. SE.

A 36-year-old was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 19 following a pursuit. Officers observed a vehicle traveling south on Lindbergh Drive at a high rate of speed. When officer attempted to stop vehicle, the driver did not stop and a vehicle pursuit took place. The driver later lost control of the vehicle on Falcon Road and drove it into the ditch.

THEFT - A report Monday of a theft on the 700 block of Seventh Street Northeast.

A report Feb. 18 of a theft on the 1300 block of Crestview Drive.

INTOXICATED - A report at 2:33 p.m. Sunday of complainant stating he was intoxicated and wanted to go to the hospital.

UNWANTED - A report at 1:34 p.m. Feb. 19 of an unwanted subject who was being obstreperous, or noisy and difficult to control, at Mental Health Consumer Survivor Network of Minnesota, 120 E Broadway. Officers located subject and advised him not to go inside the business.

FIRE - A report at 4:10 p.m. Feb. 17 of a possible fire at a manufacturing plant, 702 Paul Larson Memorial Drive. Officers remained on scene until fire department personnel arrived and extinguished it.
