Brainerd police: SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:13 p.m. Monday of a suspicious vehicle pulling into Gregory Park after it was closed. Subject stated he was there to play a game on his phone. He was advised of the city ordinance and he left without incident.

CIVIL - A report at 11:56 a.m. Monday of a neighbor being loud at night and who is also setting food out and the squirrels are bringing it into the complainant's yard.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 11:06 p.m. Monday of suspicious activity on the 22000 block of Poster Lane, Brainerd. Reports of dog barking for no reason. Deputies checked the area and found nothing.

A report at 12:33 p.m. Monday of a male going through five different fish houses on Red Sand Lake in Baxter. Deputy made contact with male who stated he was checking to see water clarity before fishing. Nothing appeared to be taken and complainant did not see male take anything from houses.

A report at 11:43 a.m. Monday of a male asking a lot of questions in relation to the Deerwood Bank of Garrison's policy of a bank robbery and shooting incident.

FIRE - A report at 2:31 p.m. Monday of a grass fire on County Road 102 and Nelson Road, Ironton.

BURGLARY - A report at at 11:18 a.m. Monday of an attempted burglary on the 12000 block of Highway 210, Brainerd.

THEFT - A report Monday of a theft on the 12000 block of Oak Road, Brainerd.

Brainerd police

WELFARE CHECK - A report at 11:18 p.m. Monday of a welfare check on a male crying in the hallway on Southwest Fourth Street. Male went back into his apartment and everything was OK.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:13 p.m. Monday of a suspicious vehicle pulling into Gregory Park after it was closed. Subject stated he was there to play a game on his phone. He was advised of the city ordinance and he left without incident.

ASSAULT - A 17-year-old male was cited at 4:09 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct following a report of a fight on Jessica Lane.

A 17-year-old female was arrested at 6:20 a.m. Monday on the 100 block of North First Street on two counts of fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 3:51 p.m. Monday of a vehicle weaving in the roadway and possibly people fighting inside on Northeast Washington Street and 10th Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

A report at 1:49 p.m. Monday of a verbal argument on Fred Lane.

Baxter police

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 11:55 p.m. Monday of a suspicious male in a vehicle in the parking lot at AT&T, 14695 Edgewood Drive. Officer spoke to driver who stated he was watching videos on his phone. Male left the area.

A report at 11:09 p.m. Monday of a suspicious male standing by the front entrance of Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive. Male was gone upon arrival.

ARRESTS - A driver was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday on Laurel Street and Fourth Street in brainerd for DWI following a report of a driving complaint through Baxter. Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office arrested the driver, as officers were tied up on other calls.

A 56-year-old woman was arrested at 1 p.m. Monday for theft and possession of a controlled substance at Costco, 13650 Elder Drive.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 3:16 p.m. Monday of an out of control student at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Drive. Student calmed down and was transported home by an officer.

A report at 2:40 p.m. Monday of a woman yelling at a child at Wal-Mart, 7295 Glory Road. Officers checked the area, but they were unable to locate.

A report at 11:16 a.m. Monday of a verbal argument between roommates on the 7900 block of Greenwood Road. Complainant wanted subject removed. Subject agreed to move out and both parties agreed to be civil.

ASSAULT - A report at 1:06 p.m. Monday of an assault at Forestview.

Staples police

WEAPONS VIOLATION - A report at 10:49 a.m. Friday of finding a sharp object in a student's locker at Staples Motley High School, 401 Centennial Drive. The object was given to police for safe keeping.

ARREST - A 21-year-old man was arrested at 4:59 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct and fleeing on foot following a report of a dispute on the 200 block of Wisconsin Avenue Southeast.

DOMESTIC - A report at 11:20 a.m. Saturday of a disturbance on the 900 block of Sixth Street Northeast. Parties involved were having a loud argument. Officers spoke to them and advised them of the complaint.

A report at 8:56 p.m. Thursday of a domestic dispute on the 100 block of Wisconsin Avenue Southeast. Officers assisted on scene while one of the subjects involved left the residence. All parties were advised.

A report at 7:10 p.m. Thursday to assist with a patient who was being non-compliant and unruly with staff at Lakewood Health System, 49725 County Road 83. The Minnesota State Patrol, Wadena County Sheriff's Office and Todd County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 9:30 p.m. Friday of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Family Dollar, 105 Second Ave. NW. An employee reported the vehicle pulled into the parking lot, the occupants exited the vehicle and walked to the rear of the business. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

A report at 8:52 p.m. Jan. 21 of caller hearing what sounded like two gun shots in the area of the 900 block of Eighth Street Northeast. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the source of the loud noise.

A report at 7:04 p.m. Jan. 21 of suspicious activity at the Staples Express, 129 Second Ave. NE.

THEFT - A report Jan. 21 of a theft of a cellphone at the Community Center, 425 Fourth St. NE.
