Staples police: ARRESTS - A 19-year-old man was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Friday following a report to assist the Morrison County Sheriff's Office with a road rage type incident involving a weapon. The 19-year-old driver was later arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and being under 21 and drinking and driving and transported to the Todd County Detention Center.

DISTURBANCE - Report at 4:28 a.m. Wednesday of an unwanted party on the 1100 block of 15th Avenue Northeast. Subject agreed to leave.

Report at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal disturbance on the 400 block of South Eighth Street. Officers made contact and subjects agreed to separate for the day.

Report at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal argument at Kiwanis Park, 1101 East River Road.

Report at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday of an unknown juvenile in the neighborhood on the 700 block of G Street swearing and yelling and flipping off her adult sister. Officers were unable to locate.

Report at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday of a verbal argument on the 700 block of South Sixth Street. Officers made contact and male agreed to leave to calm the situation.

THEFT - Report Tuesday of a theft of a kayak on the 9500 block of Karr Drive.

ARRESTS - A 53-year-old woman was arrested at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday for driving after cancellation, no insurance and a warrant during a traffic stop on Fourth Avenue and H Street.

A 16-year-old male was cited at 9:03 p.m. Tuesday for shoplifting at a store on 402 Washington Street.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday on a probation violation following a report of a male walking on a road.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday on Washington Street wfor driving after suspension, no insurance and having a Hennepin County warrant.

WELFARE CHECK - Report at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday of a welfare check on the 500 block of South Eighth Street following a report made by Lakes Dental Care in Pequot Lakes reporting a child was playing with a phone trying to wake grandma up from a nap. Officers made contact and everything was OK.

Report at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday of a male asking for police from an unknown address saying his mother is dying and he hung up. Officers checked a few addresses but did not locate anyone.

SUSPICIOUS - Report at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity on the 700 block of South Sixth Street.

Baxter police

ASSIST - Report at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday of a child stuck in a toddler swing on the 5600 block of Baxter Lions Road. Officer and parent were able to remove the child from the swing.

DISTURBANCE - Report at 4:40 p.m. Monday of an argument on the 15000 block of Edgewood Drive. Both parties agreed it was verbal only and requested no assistance.

Report at 1:28 p.m. Monday of a party yelling at another individual on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive. Officers spoke to party who stated another lady yelled at her today while she was in the drive-thru.

DISTURBANCE - Report at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday of a disturbance on Ravenswood Road, Brainerd.

Report at 6:39 p.m. Monday of a disturbance on Easy Street, Brainerd.

FRAUD - Report Tuesday of a theft on Crow Wing County Road 2, Brainerd.

Report Tuesday of a theft of a vehicle on Nokay Lake Road, Brainerd.

DOMESTIC - Report at 9:33 a.m. Tuesday of a domestic on Gull Lake Dam Road, Brainerd.

Report at 1 a.m. Monday of a domestic on County Road 111, Aitkin.

FIRE - Report at 4:48 a.m. Tuesday of a chimney fire on Green Acres Court, Merrifield.

Report at 1:59 p.m. Monday of a gas line cut on Peninsula Lane, Fifty Lakes.

SUSPICIOUS - Report at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious vehicle on North Third Street, Brainerd.

ASSAULT - Report at 8:01 p.m. Monday of an assault at Crow Wing County Jail, 313 Laurel St.

CRASH - Report at 6:32 p.m. Monday of a vehicle leaving the road and striking a tree on County Road 4 and Tranquil Road, Nisswa. The driver was not transported to the hospital.

BURGLARY - Report at 2:02 p.m. Monday of a burglary on Two Mile Road, Brainerd.

INTOXICATED - Report at 10:02 a.m. Monday of an intoxicated person on Highway 6, Deerwood.

GARBAGE - Report at 6:28 a.m. Monday of a garbage can that blew into their yard on County Road 8, Brainerd.

Crosby police

SUSPICIOUS - Report Sunday of a young male who pointed some kind of gun out of a window of a residence on Third Avenue Southwest near First Street. Officer made contact and male said he pointed an unloaded soft pellet gun out the window as a joke. Officer advised the male of the dangers.

Report Saturday of a suspicious vehicle on Third Street Southwest. The vehicle was located a short time later unoccupied. Officers located driver and he was advised.

Report Sunday of a suspicious occupied vehicle at a residence off Sixth Street in Ironton. Officers made contact and learned the subjects were traveling to Oregon to fight wildfires and were looking for a place to sleep for a few hours. Officers advised them on better locations to sleep.

Report May 14 of a suspicious person at a business on First Avenue Northwest. Officers made contact with an employee who was taking the garbage out. Everything was OK.

Report May 14 of a female attempting to sell cleaning products at a business. The female was advised to have a peddlers permit to sell items in the city and she left. A short time later two males came in attempting to sell credit card machines. Other businesses relayed the same information to police. Officers attempted to locate subjects involved but they could not be found at that time.

INTOXICATED - Report Saturday of a possible intoxicated male who was walking into traffic on Highway 210 and 6. Officers located the male, who was intoxicated, and transported him to a relative's home.

DOMESTIC - Report May 11 of a physical domestic on Fawn Street in Trommald.

Report May 12 of a physical domestic on Rice Lake Road in Deerwood.

DISTURBANCE - Report Sunday of a disturbance involving a dispute over some personal property between two individuals on First Street Southwest.

Report Saturday of a disturbance involving a juvenile male on Second Street Northwest.

Report May 13 of a disturbance on the 700 block of Poplar Street involving a juvenile female.

Report May 12 of a disturbance at a business on East Main Street involving a man who was causing problems. Officers stood by until the male had calmed down.

THEFT - Report May 13 of a theft of a fuel tank on the 100 block of First Street Southwest.

Report May 12 of a theft of a full gas can taken from a boat parked on the 300 block of Second Street Northwest.

OTHER - Report May 14 of kids causing problems and throwing rocks at vehicles in the parking lot of a business off Third Avenue Northwest.
