ANIMAL - Report Nov. 2 of a citizen who came into the police station with a white chicken that had shown up in his yard that morning. The citizen was advised to take the chicken that apparently was "on the lamb" to HART Animal Shelter.
On Nov. 2, officers were advised two juvenile males were being mean to a dog inside of a kennel off of Oak Street. Officer made contact with both juvenile males, received further information and advised both they were to have no further contact with the dog.
FIRE - On Nov. 2, officers along with Crosby Fire Department responded to a residence on Fourth Street Southwest where carbon monoxide alarms were going off. Officers assisted firefighters who detected CO levels in the house. House was secured until a heating technician could respond.
FOUND PROPERTY - Report Nov. 4 of a wallet found at a business on West Main Street and turned into police. The owner of the wallet was located and recovered the wallet and all contents, which were substantial.

SUSPICIOUS - Report Friday a suspicious occupied vehicle at the intersection of Highway 6 North and Yawkey Road. Officer made contact with the vehicle and driver who explained they were checking out some good hunting locations.
Brainerd police
SUSPICIOUS - Report at 3:41 a.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity of a male getting in and out of a vehicle on the 1700 block of Southeast 13th Street. Officer made contact with occupants who were looking for a friend's house.
INFORMATION - Report at 8:13 p.m. Monday of ongoing complaints with a group of kids in and out of the neighbor's house yelling profanities possibly with bottles of alcohol on South Seventh Street.
ARRESTS - A 29-year-old man was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Monday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct following a report of a theft of money on the 2600 block of Fred Lane. Officers investigated and learned the complainant had assaulted his girlfriend.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Report at 8:04 a.m. Monday of several broken windows, doors forced open and other damage at Mill Park, 1700 Mill Ave.

DISTURBANCE - Report at 5:21 p.m. Monday of a disturbance on the 13000 block of Meredith Drive. A female was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

THEFT - Arrested a 22-year-old man on an active warrant and booked him into the jail after a theft report from Mills Fleet Farm Sunday on the 14100 block of Dellwood Drive.

Report Saturday of a theft from a vehicle on the 7200 block of Glory Road.
A cell phone was reported stolen Oct. 31 from a parked vehicle at SuperAmerica on the 14000 block of Dellwood.
ASSIST - Assisted Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office at 12:44 a.m. Sunday on the 4600 block of Gull Lake Dam Road in an attempt to locate a domestic assault suspect possibly driving into Baxter.
ARREST - Arrested a 42-year-old man about 11:23 p.m. Saturday on the 600 block of Washington Street after a traffic stop for driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.
Arrested a 20-year-old Friday at Kohl's on the 7500 block of Excelsior Road after getting a theft report at the store.
FIRE - A vehicle was reported on fire at 3:54 Saturday on the 7300 block of Garrison Road. Upon arrival, officers found the fire had been extinguished.

SCAMS - Two scams were reported Friday with one involving a phone scam followed up by an email. The party reporting the scam said they were advised by Xcel energy to make a police report. The second scam reported involved an IRS scam and the threat of sending the police to the house as part of the scam. The caller was referred to the IRS.gov website and asked the caller to advise their friends and family about the scam.
ASSAULT - Received a report of an assault at 6:45 a.m. Friday on the 4800 block of Emily Road and arrested a juvenile.
Received a report of a physical domestic at 2:29 a.m. Friday on the 15000 block of Garland Drive.

DOMESTIC - Report at 5:21 p.m. Monday of a domestic on the 7100 block of Buschmann Road, Pequot Lakes.
THEFT - Report Monday of a theft at Pleasureland RV, 16599 Highway 371, Brainerd.
Report Monday of a theft at Granite City Moving and Storage, 9272 Wetherbee Road, Brainerd.
SUSPICIOUS - Report at 8:36 a.m. Monday of suspicious activity on the 4700 block of White Pine Road, Garrison.

ARREST - A 51-year-old man was arrested at 6:18 a.m. Monday during a traffic stop on Wise Road, Brainerd.
Little Falls police
ARRESTS - Arrested a 34-year-old man after receiving a report Nov. 3 of suspicious activity with a male entering a vehicle without permission on 11th St. Northeast in Little Falls. Officers located the suspect, who appeared to be heavily impaired, arrested him and transported him to jail. The same individual was cited earlier in the day for multiple violations after receiving a call about suspicious activity on Riverwood Drive and Ryan Street.
A 37-year-old man was arrested Oct. 31 for driving while intoxicated on Haven Road and 183rd Street.
THEFT - Received a report of theft from Coborn's Superstore Nov. 3 on the 1100 block of Second Avenue.
Report Nov. 1 of a theft of a chainsaw at Ace Hardware, 1101 Second Ave. NE.
SUSPICIOUS - Checked the yard and neighborhood around the 500 block of Third Street Southwest after receiving a complaint Nov. 3 of suspicious activity. Nothing out of the ordinary was discovered.
Report Nov. 1 of a suspicious subject walking on the sidewalk on Ninth Street Northeast and Highway 27. Officers made contact and subject said he was walking to his friend's house to help him with scrapping.

Report Oct. 31 of a group of older kids walking past a house and one jumped on a car on the 100 block of Fourth street Northeast. Complainant also observed one of the kids throwing a pumpkin on the neighbor's house. Officers were unable to locate the kids.
Report Oct. 30 of a suspicious person who pulled into complainant's driveway on the 17000 block of Gayle Drive, came to the door and motioned to her to open the door. She did not open the door and subject left.
TRESPASS - Received a Nov. 3 complaint of two subjects loitering at the front of the Carnegie Library, 100 block of Third Street Northeast. Both subjects stated they were homeless. They were advised to leave the area and left the property.
DISTURBANCE - Report Nov. 2 of neighbors deliberately making noise and yelling outside her residence when she was sleeping during the day on the 600 block of Lindbergh Drive.
INTOXICATED - Report Oct. 30 of an intoxicated subject on the 600 block of Lindbergh Drive. The subject agreed to stay with a neighbor for the night, but he returned to his brother's residence and was causing trouble. Officers transported subject to detox.

DOMESTIC- Complainant reports physical domestic between her and her husband at 2:18 a.m. Sunday at an undisclosed address on Tree Farm Road. Man left the scene prior to officer arrival, unable to locate.

911 HANGUP- Report of 20 hangup calls at 8:51 a.m. Saturday at Highway 371, where dispatch was unable to call the number back. Officer checked residence closest to where the calls were coming from. Homeowner contacted son who was in the woods and made sure he was OK. Officer checked a vacant residence just north and nothing found.
