BOMB SQUAD - At 6:20 p.m. Sunday on the 12000 block of Kingwood Drive, deputies responded to a report of old gunpowder found in a basement. The squad removed the gunpowder and will destroy it.
BURGLARIES - At 12:57 p.m. Sunday on the 17000 block of County Road 102, deputies responded to a report of a burglary.
At 1:54 p.m. Saturday on the 20000 block of Barbara Lane in Crosby, deputies responded to a report of a burglary. A red air compressor was taken from the location.
ANIMAL - At 10:15 a.m. Friday on the 20000 block of Carolyn Lane, deputies responded to a report of a dog treeing a monkey. The deputy arrived and determined it was a fisher. Deputy and complainant left the area to allow the animal to leave.
SUSPICIOUS - At 8:55 p.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Fifth Street Southeast, police responded to a report of suspicious activity. Complainant stated they heard glass break and all the lights in a house turn on. Officer made contact with the homeowners who stated a window broke while attempting to move a refrigerator into the house.
ANIMAL - At 9:15 p.m. Friday on the 200 block of Second Street Northeast, police received a call of a dog at large. Officer was unable to locate the dog.
At 10:02 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of Dakota Avenue Southeast, police received a report of a dog bite that occurred the previous evening at the location. The man was not injured but reported the dog charged at him and bit him in his jeans.
At 10:46 a.m. Aug. 23 on the 400 block of Seventh Street Southeast, police responded to a report of a dog at large. The officer located the dog and put it back in the yard of the residence. The owner was not home.
ARRESTS - A 50-year-old woman was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of Eighth Street Northeast for trespassing, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were responding to a report of a theft and arrested the woman after investigating.
A 64-year-old man was arrested at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Eighth Street Northeast for third-degree driving under the influence. Police were asked by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office to assist with a hit-and-run crash. Officers went to the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle involved and the vehicle pulled into the driveway as police were on scene.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at 4:58 p.m. Aug. 18 on the 200 block of Sixth Street Northeast for fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance, second-degree assault, terroristic threats and domestic assault. Police were responding to a report of a disturbance. The man was arrested following an investigation and execution of a search warrant.
THEFT - At 12:14 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 on the 800 block of Eighth Street Northeast, police responded to a theft report. Male complainant reported he is missing two Mathews bows valued at $1,150.
PARKING - At 4:27 p.m. Friday on the 12000 block of Mountain Ash Drive, an officer observed a vehicle parked on the bike trail. The officer advised the driver to move the vehicle into the parking lot.
ARRESTS - A 38-year-old man was arrested for a probation violation at 3:34 p.m. Thursday at Laurel and South Eighth streets. Officers were responding to a call reporting two men drinking beer on a bench.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for trespassing at 7:23 p.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of South Eighth Street.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated-controlled substance at 12:06 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Washington and Northwest Third streets.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at 2:06 a.m Saturday on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast for first-degree burglary, fourth-degree damage to property, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at 8:56 p.m. Saturday on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Officers were responding to a suspicious activity call.
BURGLARY - A burglary was reported at 9:16 p.m. Friday at an apartment on the 700 block of Laurel Street.
Report at 8:44 p.m. Sunday of the caller returning to a residence on the 400 block of East River Road to find her dog missing.
THEFTS - License plate tabs were reported stolen Thursday from a residence on the 1100 block of Pine Street.
Report Thursday of possible gas siphoning from a boat on Jessica Lane.
A trailer was reported stolen Thursday on the 11000 block of State Avenue.
The theft of a pull-tab box and money from Northeast Liquors, 105 NE Washington St., was reported Friday.
A theft was reported on the 1400 block of Norwood Street Friday.
A theft of a BMX bicycle on the 700 block of 11th Avenue Northeast was reported Friday.
PROPERTY DAMAGE - The rear window of a vehicle was reportedly shot by a pellet gun on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. The incident was reported at 7:41 a.m. Thursday.
A window at E.L. Menk Jewelers, 624 Laurel St., was reportedly shot by a pellet gun. The incident was reported at 9:39 a.m. Thursday.
Report of a vehicle damaged during an altercation Saturday on the 700 block of Laurel Street.
NOISE - A loud party was reported to police at 2:58 a.m. Thursday on the 900 block of South Seventh Street. A 32-year-old woman was cited for providing a false name and violating city noise ordinance.
PUBLIC ASSIST - An officer made contact with a female at 1:20 a.m. Thursday walking with a "substantial amount of property" on Washington and North Second streets. The female said she left a residence after arguing with a male there. The officer transported the female to an address in Brainerd.
SUSPICIOUS - Report at 2:23 p.m. Saturday of broken alcohol bottles all over a backyard at a residence on the 700 block of 12th Avenue Northeast. The caller believed it happened within the last week and had someone in mind to blame.
ASSAULT - A caller reported to police Friday a daughter was assaulted at 3 a.m. that morning.
An assault that occurred Thursday was reported to officers Saturday. A 30-year-old man was arrested for multiple felony and domestic assault charges on the 200 block of North Fourth Street.
COUNTERFEIT - The city transit service reported receiving counterfeit dollar bills as payment Friday.
