Seal coating is scheduled on a number of Crow Wing County roads.

The Crow Wing County Highway Department entered into a contract with Morris Sealcoat and Trucking for the bituminous seal coating of the following routes:

• Mill Avenue from Highway 210 to the Mississippi River bridge,

• County Highway 3 from Wolf Trail to 1 mile north in Crosslake,

• County Highway 36 from County Highway 37 in Crosslake to Fairfield 114,

• County Road 125 from Highway 371 to Gull River Road,

• and County Road 142.

Under this contract, various roads in the cities of Jenkins, Fifty Lakes and Breezy Point and the townships of Oak Lawn and Ideal will also be seal coated.

Weather permitting, operations will begin Tuesday in Oak Lawn Township, County Road 142 and on Mill Avenue. After completing these roads, the contractor will move north to seal coat the remaining roads. All seal coat operations are scheduled to be completed by Friday.

Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car. Drivers are advised to expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone, a news release stated. No parking will be allowed on Mill Avenue during seal-coat operations.
