MERRIFIELD -- A 59-year-old man was injured Friday, July 5, when the all-terrain vehicle he was operating crashed into a tree off a trail on the 13000 block of Mission Park Drive, Merrifield.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported Brian G. Little of Los Angeles was operating the ATV when the crash occurred. Little and his passenger, Nathan G. Richards, 25, Lantana, Florida, were both ejected off the ATV when it struck the tree.
Little was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Richards was not injured.
The crash was reported at 7 p.m.
