ATV hits curb, throws operator

The operator was transported to St. Cloud Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.

BUCKMAN — A 43-year-old Pierz man was injured after crashing an all-terrain vehicle Sunday, Sept. 13, in Buckman.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded at 8:26 p.m. to the crash, where it was reported Chad Scholl was driving a Yamaha Grizzly ATV on 93rd Street in Buckman. The ATV hit a curb, causing Scholl to fall off. Scholl was transported to St. Cloud Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor, the sheriff’s office reported. This case is still under investigation.

The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Morrill-Lakin-Mount Morris-Buckman First Response Team.
